The Skelton Toppin Memorial Hall, Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for Monday 20, April 2020, is postponed until further notice due to the Covid 19 Pandemic.
We wish everyone safe passage through this unprecedented period. Please follow the government guidelines for social distancing and cleaning and hopefully we can all get back to some sense of normality sooner, rather than later.

It is with regret, but in complete support of UK Government guidance concerning the need for social distancing and safety of all concerned, that we announce the "closure" of Skelton Toppin Memorial Hall, in Skelton Village, "until further notice", due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. This will take effect immediately, 22 March 2020 (having been in practice for a few days now).
There will be caretaker functions carried out during the closure, with the hall being continuously monitored.

The very popular Tai chi classes will resume in Skelton Toppin Memorial Hall on Monday, 6th of January from 2-3 PM, immediately followed by hot drink and biscuits from 3-4 PM. Welcome to the Skelton Toppin Memorial Hall which is perfectly situated in the heart of the village of Skelton, 7 miles from Penrith in rural Cumbria. The hall is also known as the Skelton Memorial Hall. It is home to a host of regular events and functions and is available to be booked out for weddings, live music and parties amongst many other possibilities.
The car park is adjacent to the hall with parking for up to 30 cars.

The Kitchen has a larder fridge, electric oven, electric 4 ring hob, and instant hot water boiler. There is a supply of teacups, saucers, side plates and large plates for 100 people. We do NOT supply cutlery or glasses.
THE READING ROOM
The Reading Room is perfectly suited to smaller groups and meetings, up to 25 people, it is well lit with the availability of comfortable chairs and tables if required.
THERE IS ALSO A SECOND SMALL MEETING ROOM AVAILABLE WHICH IS THE MIRROR IMAGE OF
THE READING ROOM SITUATED AT THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING
